I've been meaning to share this little stop-motion animation I came across; it's the sweetest thing I've come across in a long time.
Also, if you're interested in film, you should check out the National Film Board of Canada site. For the past few years, they've been uploading their collection to their website and you can now watch thousands of of their non-commercial films for free. They're best-known for producing documentaries and animation, but they also have some short narrative films. The NFB funds a lot of unusual, interesting fims that would never get studio money, so it's a great place to find somewhat weird stuff (one of my favourites, Mme. Tutli Puttli, for example). You can browse their collection by genre, catgeory or keyword.
Warning: Madame Tutli Putli is pretty creepy/ lecherous for an animated film...not really for kids! (Or squeamish adults.)
Wow! thanks for sharing these wonderful films! I really love Madame Tuti-Putli! I just watched Blood Tea and Red Strings for the 3rd time over the weekend. Thanks for suggesting it on a past blog. So enjoyable :)

You know how much I love Mde. Tutli Putli (I learned of that movie after you posted about it awhile back)! Dot is amazing too..it's really nice to see so much great stop motion animation out there these day. I recently interviewed and turned down a job offer from a film company to work on their next stop motion project .Because of Mark's job, it came down to me moving and pretty much not seeing my son for a year and I couldn't do it. This is a field I think I'd like to get into as I find S.M.A a major source of inspiration and the next logiacl step. Trying to talk Mark into moving.
Will get you that pic this weekend..crazy week again and I wonder if I'll ever find time to sit down and make another doll. Off to write..Have a good one!

hi
i have adored your dolls for quite a while now but wasn't sure about a purchase to ship to Australia.
well.. today i went shopping in Sydney's CBD and then wow there i saw two of your marvelous dolls in the window of a most exclusive jewellery store. the dolls were just..just..just wonderful
right there and then i thought.. i definately have to purchase one of these wonderful creatures, so now i wait in anticipation for your return to your etsy shop..
they are even lovelier than they look on the net.
i just had to tell you this story
regards
