Here are my latest ladies...Poppy (the blond) and Netta, who will be in the (rather barren at moment) shop tomorrow. I've had a few dolls in the works for a while now, but with being sick and school (as always) kicking my ass (in a good way!) they've been going slowly. Poppy is fully poseable with glass eyes, a little over a foot, I'd say...and my second blond doll ever!
...a little felt coat.
Her eyes are slightly different, but I think that gives her character.
I love her little ballet flats!
And her manicured nails.
Now Netta...a name I love, from Mavis Gallant story called "the Moslem Wife".
...a pensive face (what do think she's thinking?)
Pretty pink slippers...
And tea-dyed lace for her skirt.
Now I'm off to bed to read "The Time Machine". This week we read all sorts of Oscar Wilde, Walter Pater, Matthew Arnold. I know it's a good class when my brain hurts at the end!

netta is magical. that hair...oh that hair!

I've heard it said, that all great beauties have one eye different from the other. This proves it.

Both are beautiful!! Poppy reminds me of Nico from the Velvet Underground. Love her eyes and hair and of course jacket!(not easy to do, huh).
Netta is awesome. Her hair and svelte figure is enviable!!
Glad your back from being sick:)
